Mona Evan

June 28We finally made it to the Louvre Museum.  The Mona Lisa is by far the most popular exhibit.  Here, Evan is doing his best Mona.  Notice the intense crowd trying to smash up close to see her.  On the same wall you will find two bold signs warning of pickpocketing.

Fresh Cheese. Crazy Broccoli. What the heck is a crumpet? Check out the space station flower in the park. I really want to cook some garlic scapes someday!

“Our Lady” from Behind

Never wake a sleeping rescue dog with a sh*tty disposition. It leaves a mark.

Tiny Cooking

June 25We finally prepared a real cooking meal at the apartment.  The kitchen is so tiny that while one person stands at the sink (you can barely see the rim in this picture) another person can squeeze in to the right with the cutting board turned sideways.  That is the extent to the kitchen.  I can’t imagine how you survive on a boat.

Walking the Streets

June 24-001We met up with a large couch surfing group at a bar for trivia tonight, which turned out to be a total crowded disaster.  We salvaged the evening by walking blindly around town and stumbled across this beautiful building.  I love the curved outer wall.  Really, I’m just a sucker for curved walls.
