Adult playground slide, aka the harbor ramp!

Pink Storm

A front was blowing in with really high winds and rain right at sunset.  I’ll go ahead and say… it was much prettier in person.

Joleen – lost & found

Joleen is my mountain bike. I left her tied up to the bike rack at work when winter hit. I wasn’t sure we had room on the boat for her. One week lead to the next and before long several months had passed before I had even thought about her out there. I admit it, I was negligent.

I finally remembered to check on her while I was at work, and she was gone. I thought the building owner (eccentric older gentleman) may have had the lock cut & the bike hauled off. I went and asked the maintenance guy. He said he cut the lock “because he was afraid that someone would steal the bike.” Meanwhile my bike was stashed away in one of the utility rooms… too funny, because regardless on the intention – in essence – he cut a lock & stole a bike.

Roasted Dinner

A very uninteresting week day, but at least there was good food at the end.

Sunday Porch Time

It’s so nice to see daylight on the weekends!  Evan, Ellie, and I had some porch time near sunset… that’s our name for sitting on the glider and reading on our front porch… like an old married couple.

2 treats tonight

The boys made Pad Thai.

The Shop

Brooke and I spent a girl’s day together at the hardware store and then the shop.  At one point we were asked if we had children, so naturally we followed by calling one another “honey” and “sweetheart”.  By the way, I was working on painting the soon to be Toopher sign (foreground), which Brooke will then CNC (background) with the company logo.

A wingman & a rice-crispy dream come true

We went out Saturday night, and Teeka volunteered to be Mark’s wingman. You know, draw in the ladies with her cuteness! Mark ended up being Teeka’s wingman by pointing out a sidewalk score. The biggest Rice-crispy treat on the block (or it was 2 seconds ago).

Super Granola

A new, super granola store named “in.gredients” opened up in our neighborhood.  They mainly have local and organic bulk items, but I thought the homemade looking soaps were too funny!  Where am I, Portlandia?!?

This is a BIG deal!

Please notice how the dinner plate fits in the sink. We now have a full sized kitchen sink and a faucet that’s not made of plastic!
