As it turns out, Robert has just upgraded Canons and was looking to sell the very same model I was looking to purchase.  Bada bing!  The 7D is on it’s way!  And at a excellent price (thank you Robert)!!

Day 2 with Robert included breakfast BBQ at LA Barbecue and doughnuts at Gourdough’s.  So yummy!

A friend of ours, Robert, came to Austin for the weekend simply to eat.  We joined him for about half his meals, but I just couldn’t keep up.  He hit town around 10AM, proceded to have a coffee (and maybe taco – I can’t remember), then went to a BBQ trailer, met us for ramen at East Side King, went to another BBQ place, met us for drinks at Drink Well (it’s delicious) and dinner at Foreign and Domestic.  We shut F&D down, went back to Drink Well and closed it, too.

Blues on the Green is a biweekly free concert during summer in Austin.  Basically it’s an excuse to picnic in the park with friends, live music, dogs, drinks and food.  It’s lovely!

Dillon wasn’t so interested in harvesting produce.

Brooke had a BBQ with a lip syncing contest as entertainment.  Evan rocked it with his rendition of Beyonce’s Single Ladies.
