There’s a game going at work called Penny Wars to raise money for charity. This team is going all out with bribes. I usually can’t bring myself to buy the empty fat and calories at the store – so, thank you co-workers, for buying me guilt free doughnuts today.

With no regard for significant others, I’m really enjoying some solitude + pets tonight. Ash recommended this book to me over a year ago and I finally found it at the used book store!

I’ve heard that long ago they kept the cache of dynamite out her, away from town, and I always wondered if they kept it out on this structure or just nearby. The sea separates the structure from the shore, but I’m itching to go walk around out there.

Today is an oddball state holiday & that means oddball weekday chores can get done. I had a button installed in my old belt where the stitches wore out. I’m on the lookout for a gaudy belt buckle now!

We’re staying near this lake and walk here every morning now. It’s a beautiful trail, and just a little creepy in the dark.
