While four generations hung out in a small rehab/retirement center room, Dillon kept us entertained. He decided to roll a car down his back and we quickly made a game of predicting which leg it would come out of. Okay, kids are cute! Says the teacher reluctantly.
They have been together for something like 7 years, and this was their first Christmas together. I’m so glad to have spent time with them and had a blast hunting Gingerbread Martinis on the Riverwalk. We got close, but were lucky enough to venture over to SOHO Martini Bar… it was amazing and I really look forward to going back!
*I did not take this picture* but it’s a new favorite and I wanted to share it. Perhaps it’s a “you had to be there to understand” sort of moment. Brooke, Brian, and Christa were still over after midnight when December 21st hit. I had just crawled into bed (WAY past my work night bedtime, might I add) when Evan and the gang rushed in to take a We Survived the Apocalypse picture. I love these guys!
Since Evan is no longer a student, our gym membership expired. I’ll need to find some other form of exercise… I should do that… maybe
Evan’s not an adventurous eater and was eating close to nothing while in China. I was going for an all American food… bacon seemed fairly appropriate.
