We were on our way to a BBQ with people I didn’t know, and I was running out of comfortable photo ops. Adam and Janet volunteered to become enthusiastic talkers for me on the drive over, so I could put the camera away for the night.
Howth (pronounced “howf” if you’re Irish). A short train ride from Dublin will take you to a peninsula which is home to the small village, Howth. Evan and I spent a few hours in and around Howth and took a hike around the peninsula.
Evan and I started our day with a Guinness Storehouse tour and ended it with a literary pub crawl. Our pub crawl guides took us to four pubs while entertaining and teaching us about the literary history of the city. Great fun!
This intersection of five streets has three corner cafes that always have patrons. We have heard charming accordion music from our apartment for perhaps 90% of our days here in Paris.
I buried the treasure map to this one. We took a long hot drive today and found this place by chance. It is where 3 bridges, 1 rail road track, and 1 mysterious storm drain all come together for the perfect hidden oasis.
