Summer Slim Down

June 10At the end of each year I hand over my ID badge and work keys… I suppose just in case I vacation to Europe and never want to return.  Lack of keys = lack of work responsibilities… at least for a few months.

Greenpeace sent their blimp-like hot air balloon through Juneau today. It says, “Protect My Home” on the side as if the whale image is speaking to us. I love me some Momma Earth, but I must say, I didn’t recognize that kind of whale – I was left wondering if that particular kind of whale critter even lives here.

June 8We had our wonderfully amazing friends over for dinner one last time before our Europe trip.  Unfortunately, I was feeling close to death and didn’t want to even stand up, much less focus on taking a good picture.  So, here you go.
